Marco Carreri

Career

Marco Carreri, an Italian national, was born in Rome. Mr. Carreri is a leading executive in the Italian asset management industry, with more than 30 years of experience within major financial institutions. He graduated with honors in Economics and Business Administration from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome (1986) and has held senior executive positions in Italy’s leading asset management companies.

His career includes senior roles at Cofiri (Head of Treasury and Integrated Financial Risk Management), Cariverona Banca (Finance Director), and UniCredit (Corporate Treasurer), before moving into asset management leadership positions as Chief Executive Officer of UBI Pramerica and subsequently of the Anima Holding.

He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca Premier SpA, a Director of Mediobanca SGR, and serves as an advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Mediobanca.
