Inside the CMB Monaco Graduate Programme: Meet Emile

2 October 2026

1. Your background spans multiple countries and cultures. How has this shaped your approach to wealth management?

Emile: My education has taken me across borders, I did my International Baccalaureate at Shekou International School in Shenzhen, my undergraduate degree at ESCP across three cities, Paris, Turin and Berlin, and my Master's in International Finance at EDHEC in Nice. Growing up and studying in international communities has taught me how to navigate different perspectives and ways of thinking. That matters in private banking, where clients often think, negotiate and make decisions differently depending on where they come from. I've also stayed close to that world outside of work. I used to run a community of opera-goers in Paris for Third Culture Kids. Those experiences gave me an early appreciation of how differently people view risk, opportunity and long-term goals, something that is particularly relevant in private banking and at CMB Monaco.

2. Why CMB Monaco, specifically?

Emile: Monaco offers a unique environment for international private banking, and CMB is widely recognised as a leader in this market. What attracted me most was the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in an environment that values technical expertise, strong client relationships and putting clients' needs first. More than anything, the people I met made a strong impression on me. It felt like a place where I could develop quickly, take on responsibility and build a long-term career in private banking.

3. What excites you most about joining the Investment and Credit Services department?

Emile: The opportunity to grow as both a technical private banker and a trusted advisor. I've had exposure to portfolio construction and client relationships, but now I'm entering an environment where I can deepen my understanding of complex investment strategies and credit decisions at the highest level. CMB's clients expect exceptional insight and service, not just execution, and that’s the standard I want to work towards. I'm particularly excited to work with a team that's clearly invested in developing the next generation of leaders in Monaco's banking sector.
