Career 

Elisabeth Markart is a distinguished financial professional with extensive experience in wealth management, private banking, and asset management. Her career spans several prestigious institutions and key roles in both Europe and the United States.

French Foreign Trade Advisor (2012 - Present) 
Since 2012, Elisabeth Markart has served as a French Foreign Trade Advisor, where she is a board member for the UK Section, focusing on Banking & Asset Management. Her role involves providing strategic guidance and supporting French trade interests in the UK.

Private Projects – UHNWI & FO Coverage (2018 - 2020)
During this period, Elisabeth worked with AMUNDI on Private Banks and Family Offices Strategy and with Natixis Investment Banking Group on Global Family Office Coverage. Her responsibilities included developing strategies to engage with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) and family offices.

Edmond de Rothschild PMB LLP, UK (2016 - 2017)  
As Senior Director, Elisabeth was responsible for wealth and asset management sales strategy and implementation. She led efforts to establish a comprehensive service offering for UHNWI and independent asset and wealth managers, including life insurance, pension plans, cash management, and FX hedging.

CIC Group UK (2012 - 2014)
In her role as General Manager, Elisabeth was instrumental in launching the Banque Transatlantique UK Branch. She managed all aspects of the creation and launch of the fully licensed banking entity in the UK, including interfacing with UK regulators and overseeing compliance and risk management. She successfully introduced over £800 million in assets under management.

HSBC France (2010)
Elisabeth served as Head of UHNW, where she oversaw the UHNW team responsible for 80% of HSBC Private Bank's overall assets. She managed 60% of UHNWI assets under management, including the most strategic clients, and contributed to a group-wide cross-divisional UHNW initiative.

Deutsche Bank AG, France (2004 - 2009)  
As Head of PWM and a Member of the Executive Committee, Elisabeth played a pivotal role in building and leading the new cross-divisional IB–DWS–Private Wealth Management business division. She implemented the Private Institutional Clients’ initiative, focusing on investment banking, capital markets, and asset management dedicated to family offices, and led efforts to acquire family-owned holding companies and family offices with net worth exceeding €100 million.

UBS France (2002 - 2003)
As Director of Key Clients, Elisabeth managed €800 million in assets for UHNWI, foundations, and family-owned businesses. She provided advice on financing solutions, succession planning, exit strategies, and tax structuring.

Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, US/France (1997 - 2002)
Elisabeth worked in the Capital Markets Division as a Broker and in PWM as a Senior Relationship Manager. She was involved in the acquisition and management of over $300 million in assets under management and was awarded a membership in the newly created Global Wealth Services Group, which was dedicated to UHNWI families globally.
