Caroline Rougaignon-Vernin
Career
Knight of the Order of Saint Charles, Caroline Rougaignon-Vernin has been an industrialist in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 30 years.
She began her career with Lilly Laboratories in Saint Cloud before taking responsibility for a division within the family-owned laboratory Theramex.
In 2003, she founded the R&D Pharma laboratory, before selling it to run for national elections in the Principality of Monaco. She was elected National Councilor from 2013 to 2018 and served as Vice-President of the Commission for Social Interests and Miscellaneous Affairs (CISAD), notably in charge of labor and employment.
Since 2011, she has been chairing the Order of Pharmacists Council.
Since November 2018, she has chaired the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of Monaco.
In recent years, she has fully invested herself in numerous Monegasque institutions and companies, thus demonstrating her interest in both private and public affairs of the Principality.
She has been President of the Board of Directors of the Princess Grace Hospital Center since November 2023.
State Administrator on the Board of Directors of the Société des Bains de Mer since October 2023.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco since June 2023.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Grimaldi Forum since June 2023.
Caroline Rougaignon-Vernin has always sought professional excellence, with a constant commitment to public service, thus forging an impressive and versatile career in many sectors.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors of CMB Monaco since June 2021.
