Career

Kamran Djavadi has distinguished himself as a leading executive in the financial sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at CMB Monaco since 2019. 

Kamran's career spans over almost three decades, marked by key roles at prominent financial institutions. Prior to his current role, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the EMEA Private Bank at Barclays Bank from 2017 to 2019. His tenure at Barclays was notable for his adept management and strategic vision, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the EMEA Private Bank (2014-2017) and as Chief Financial Officer for Barclays Bank Plc Monaco while heading the MI Centre of Excellence for Wealth Management (2010-2014). 

From 2006 to 2010, Kamran brought his financial expertise to HSBC Private Bank Monaco as Chief Financial Officer, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing the bank's financial planning & analysis capabilities. His career began with a solid foundation in audit and M&A, working for over 9 years at KPMG in Paris from 1997 to 2006, where he started as an auditor before specializing in acquisition assignments for the Banking and Finance department, performing due diligences across more than 15 countries across the globe. His final tenure with KPMG was as a Senior Manager.

Earlier in his career, Kamran gained his first experience in the finance department at Matra Communications in 1996 and in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department at Lazard Frères et Compagnie in 1995.
