Career
Marcio Martins is Chief Financial Officer of CMB Monaco. He leads the Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury teams. In this capacity, he is responsible for the financial strategy, performance management, regulatory compliance, and the optimisation of capital and liquidity. He also oversees Depositary Control, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and with the provisions set out in the in-house funds’ prospectuses.
With nearly 20 years of experience in banking finance, Marcio Martins has developed deep expertise in prudential measurement and reporting (capital, liquidity and large exposures), financial governance, and finance transformation. He also has solid experience in the implementation of core banking systems and major transformation programmes. Before joining CMB Monaco, he contributed to the project to establish a new bank in Monaco and previously held various roles within Royal Bank of Canada across Finance, Risk Management and Treasury.
